Dear Friends,

Greetings in Jesus from Panamá!

AMP_CAI_Yvonne_&_1-240.jpegYour partnership AMP_CAI_Josue_&_2-240.jpegwith us in prayer and finance make these e-Mailer reports possible. God bless you for it.

Thank you for praying for the Amigo Mentor Sunday afternoon Bible club. With caring volunteers we continue to love on these precious kiddos from hard places, many of whom have special needs. Sharing the Gospel in song, prayer, Bible stories and coloring pages with Bible verses, which as you can see they all seem to enjoy.

You may recognize the Morales siblings also there helping us love on the kids who are living in the same center where they used to be for 6 years; but thankfully now they are living with their father. They bring a unique understanding of what life is like, plus the hope that Jesus can make it better!

We have continued mentoring these siblings even after leaving the center. Recently we celebrated Nairobis’ birthday with Melanie & Josué all together.

We PAINT_sidewalk_prayer_evangelism_far-320.jpegare PAINT_sidewalk_prayer_evangelism_close-240.jpeggrateful to be able to be a part of Panamá International Church (PAINT Church), a house of prayer for all nations. The Fine Arts team did sidewalk evangelism at a busy intersection near the church. Handing out invitation cards for church services. Holding a simple sign, “Need prayer?” And sharing the love and Good News of Jesus to anyone who stopped to listen!

Yvonne has been helping out with the Fine Arts team. And Kirk preached there recently.

Kirk is teaching Theology of Children’s Ministries with 23 online students. The acronym in Spanish, ENGAD, translates to “Specialization in Next Generations of the Assemblies of God.” Students are from all over the Isthmus of Panamá, all ages, and in different stages of ministry.Semillero_Del_Rey_FB_group_foto-320.jpeg

I asked for testimonies of their salvation and call to ministry at the beginning of the semester. One amazing example is of the student who, after a complicated delivery, was born without any vital signs. Just before the doctor pronounced the time of death, the mother, not a believer at the time, cried out in prayer, “God, if you give life to my daughter, I will give her over to whatever you want her to do.” At that moment, she started crying. Later at age 16 she began the children’s ministry in their church and now at 32 she and her husband are the Children’s Pastors of that church. To God be the glory! You can see when she invited us to share with their enthusiastic kids at a retreat couple years ago.

Recently we gathered together with about 600 AGWM missionaries representing LAC (Latin America and the Caribbean), which includes the countries from Mexico down to Patagonia, the southern tip of South America. God met with us in powerful services. We got to meet with friends we’ve known 30+ years, but have not seen in awhile. It’s great to be a part of a vibrant missionary body that inspires and encourages us all to “ReIgnite” (which was the theme for the week, along with the verse below) to do great things for God.

For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands, for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.

2 Timothy 1:6-7 (ESV)

Thank you always! Blessings!

Kirk & Yvonne
