At the beginning of July we finished our trip in Oregon at great churches in Portland and Lyons, plus meeting with pastors, and saying farewell to family. Here in California we got to visit terrific churches in Lomita, Oceanside and Arroyo Grande, and also meet some dedicated pastors.

A major highlight this past month was the opportunity once again to join the terrific team of SoCal Kids Ministries at Pinecrest II for Summer Camp 2009 TRANSFORMED (Romans 12:2). As at Hartland Camp in June we led six Journey Groups on God's will, gave each of the 400+ campers a Missions Experience about Panama and our work there. In addition at this camp we all helped with electives: Yvonne & Celina at crafts, Kirk & Anthony at BB guns and Gracie in human video and field games. We met another MK, Paul Cao, pictured with us.

Special thanks to all the kids and their churches for the incredible BGMC offering they raised-- over $2000! Added to the total from Hartland camp in June that makes over $3600 that will go to help purchase PowerMark evangelistic comic books that every Panamanian child receives when they attend our crusades.

We have finalized our travel plans. Yvonne will travel with Anthony, Celina, and Gracie the first part of August to get them back into school. Chloe will get to visit about a week and a half with them in Panama before returning to CA. She and I will drive from to MO and get her settled in again at Evangel U. Then I return our leased car to MN and join the family back in Panama end of August. It'll be good to get settled!

It has been a great year itinerating, even though we still lack about $800 in monthly support, and about $24,000 in cash budget. As we shared last month, we will raise the remaining support from Panama. While that is not ideal, we are trusting God and His people to meet the need. Thanks to all who faithfully support us in prayer and finance. If you're not on our support team, we would certainly appreciate your prayerful consideration, even if it might not come until next year.

As a thanks to you for praying with us for all the details of an international move, I offer Paul's thanksgiving prayer for the Thessalonian believers:

What would be an adequate thanksgiving to offer God for all the joy we experience before him because of you?

We do what we can, praying away, night and day, asking for the bonus of seeing your faces again and doing what we can to help when your faith falters.

May God our Father himself and our Master Jesus clear the road to you!

And may the Master pour on the love so it fills your lives and splashes over on everyone around you, just as it does from us to you.

May you be infused with strength and purity, filled with confidence in the presence of God our Father when our Master Jesus arrives with all his followers.
